Lamp Design Concept of the Day: “Bang! Lights Out!” from Japanese design studio bitplay INC. (AKA Jack Chang and Josh Cheng) gamifies the traditional desk lamp by adding a gun-shaped remote than not only turns the light off, but also causes the lampshade to tilt as if hit.

“Bang!” was unveiled, along with its siblings “Puzzle” and “Tiktiktik,” at the annual Tokyo Designers Week.

So much for the clapper.. this is much more fun!
